Education & Recreation.....
The E&R Department is responsible for the planning and execution of a comprehensive program for residents at Leisure World. This department manages both clubhouses and the outdoor activities, with the exception of food services and golf. Activities are coordinated and the E&R staff work with more than 80 clubs and organizations that use the facilities. For more information, please contact the E&R Department at 301 598-1300 for Clubhouse I, and 301 598-1320 for Clubhouse II.

| Eyre Travel- Trips to theaters, shows, casinos, etc., are planned regularly and advertised in the Leisure World News. Several long distance trips (Alaska, Hawaii, etc.) are planned annually. All trips are escorted. Phone (301) 598-1599 for more information. |
| Room Rental for Private Parties. - Arrangements can be made no more than 11 months in advance by contacting the E&R office in Clubhouse I at (301) 598-1300. |
| The Leisure World News- Published on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Resident groups and organizations submit articles. The LWN (Leisure World News) is self-supporting, made possible by revenue from advertisements(Click here for rates), and is delivered to resident volunteers who distribute it within the neighborhood. For deadlines and information, call 301 598-1310. |
| Closed Circuit Television - is updated daily. A calendar of events, emergency announcements, and items of interest to the Community are displayed. Inter-Faith services are broadcasted weekly. Call (301) 598-1300. |

The outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day weekend though Labor Day, then on a week to week basis through Sept.
